I'm on the iphone upgrade program, cant decide on either go for the 12 mini in black or a 12 pro max in gold? Probably personal opinion, but im leaning towards trying the mini this year for the size difference and probably go back to the pros next year once they are 120hz? Only thing is I do use my iphone camera a lot and tend to browse on the internet quite a bit which the larger screen is nicer..

If you do a lot of reading and internet I wouldn’t rule out the regular 12. The larger screen will definitely help, it’s something you’re going to have to weigh up I guess. Are you able to go in store when they’re all released (not just the 12 and 12 Pro) and compare in hand?

They are complete different phones and they will not filled the same needs. Very difficult to suggest specifically one since it will fall into what you are really doing with a phone and also what you expect or what is the most important for you. Such as if Camera, battery life and media consumption are the main areas then go for the 12 PM but if size (as much pocketable as possible) while keeping a powerful phone is the most important for you then go for the 12 Mini.

Had Apple released all 4 at the same time this year, I would have gone with the 12 Pro max on the spot. Because Apple is doing it 2 separately, I'll just keep my 12 Pro this year. I hope next year both the Pro and Pro Max will be launched on the same day.
