macOS Have a NSTextField Popup on button click

Im trying to create an app, for the Mac, that I have made, for PC. And one thing id like to change, is the output(where I display, important information. i.e. logs, errors, notifications). Id like to have disclosure button, have the scrollable text field, popup/slide up, when it is clicked, then have it "hide", when its clicked again.

I think it would give it a better looking, UI. If anyone, can help, please let me know.
