Have an app idea but don't know how to make it.

I think I have a pretty good app idea for the app store but I have no idea how to code or write up an app. What should I do or where should I start? Are there people that would help with the coding or any help sites out there?

There are sites out there that where you can hire coders. The first one that comes to the top of my head is freelancer.com. You should be able to get a quote from various people on your listing.

iTunes U actually has videos of lectures from the iPhone Application Development class that is taught at Stanford University by two Apple Software Engineers (one of them is the guy responsible for the Remote App made by Apple).

It's in iTunesU>Stanford>Science and Technology>iPhone Application Development(Winter 2010)

It's extremely helpful and thorough, at least it was for me.
