Have an MBP still on Lion, should I update to Mavericks?

Hey, so I have a 2012 MBP which is still on Lion. I downloaded Mountain Lion ages ago but never bothered to install it. But now Mavericks is out and has had a .1 update, do you recommend updating or are there still a few new OS bugs floating around on it? And would updating directly from Lion to Mavericks (no wipe and reinstall, just a straight upgrade) cause any problems or should I be fine? I have backups anyway but I want to be safe.

Not yet full of bugs wait until its fifth release update to mountain lion which is very stable.
