None of mine have stretched at all.

I’ve read people on here, saying their solos have either stretched, and/or split.

I haven’t had this issue.

Maybe it’s because I have quite a few straps, so my solos don’t get much of a pounding?

Wishing you all well.

For me, the solo loop doesn't stretch, but they break after around 8-10 months of use.

I'm currently using a braided solo loop, and it's stretched a bit, I'd say about one size up. This is after about 3-4 months.

As I've mentioned before in other threads, I never switch out my bands, so this is what happens with constant daily use. I take the watch on/off several times a day, as I don't like to get them wet when I wash my hands or do the dishes.

With the number of straps you have and how frequently you change them, it'll take much longer for them to get the same amount of use as my bands.

Thanks, Night.

I wear rubber gloves, which cover my watch, when I wash up. So it never gets wet.

I also keep it on, when I wash my hands. I’m very meticulous, and take it slowly.

However, I’m left handed, and wear my watch on my left wrist, so take it off when I go a poo 💩.

Going to order two braided solo loops next week.

Since they stretch out so easily should I get a size 2?

Ngl I got my wrist measured when I tried them out at the Apple Store a few times, the Specialist told me I fit both sizes 2 and 3. 2 for snug and 3 for a relaxed fit.

Also with sport loops y’all ever seen the paint on the metal lugs chipped? I went by @danb1979 ’s advice on washing sport loops and nylon straps in my new washer and I had it tucked inside out in a white sock and the paint on the lugs chipped… I will have to touch it up with liquid white out.

Get a 2. It'll stretch to just right. ;)

Got it thank you for your help.

I swap straps every day, will the stretching out an issue for me?
I said this in another thread, but to repeat, I got my braided solo loop in December, right before Christmas, wore it every day, taking it on and off at least 3-4 times each day, and by around mid-March, it had stretched enough that it feels one size bigger than when it was new.

I think that should give you enough info to do the math on how long it might be before you can expect it to stretch a size. It totally depends on how often you take it on/off.

Oh, I see. With each strap I wear, I remove it when I charge it twice a day, or three times a day if I happen to shower in the afternoon after a workout.

I plan to wear each solo loop a maximum of four to five times a month. The Woot braided solo loop multipack comes with two straps.

I choose the strap of the day based on these factors:
- The outfit I’m wearing for the day.
- The suggestions from the Bandbriete app.
- Asking Siri to pick a random color.

So it would take your Solo a lot longer to stretch than mine did.

That woot deal of 2 braided solos is a really good deal, I'm tempted to get more straps, but I'm holding off until the size 0 straps become available for sale.

Aside from my mobility issues making it not so simple to switch straps, I also don't like picking things to wear each day. I loved wearing uniforms in elementary to high school. Just get up, put on uniform, and go! No thought required! :D

There you go that’s the way I’ll get it. I don’t see them carry size 0 at all, only size 1 and up.

I swap between different bands pretty often, so none of them get worn out too quickly. Maybe try rotating your straps or giving them a quick wipe-down now and then

That’s my norm.

I have over 50-60 straps and a quarter of them Apple genuine ones.
