I have owned my ipad 3 since launch and I just now noticed it. I don't know if this is an io6 problem or what, but it mainly occurs on pages with a lot of graphics or ads.

I mainly noticed it on the slickdeals.net forums. It was jerky during loading, and still jerky after loading. I tested the same page out in icab browser, and it was much better. Weird.

Its ios 6 was great for me on 5.1.1. Now it slows down in Safari and also some other apps and games. Im hoping there is a fix for it soon (and the fix isnt the ipad 4)

I keep reading about the choppiness of the scrolling display on the iPad 3 but I can honestly say I have never experienced it. I even visited slick deals forum and scrolled smoothly. Not saying it doesn't happen but I have never noticed it.

The only place I notice it is the top charts in the app store. It's horrible! choppy and unresponsive. I think that's an issue with iOS6 though..

No issues so far on mine running 6.0.

However, talking of 5.1.1, the second 6.0 is jailbroken I'll be using my blobs to go back. I have plans ...

the iPad 3 with A5X chokes all of the time

ever play Metal Storm? the smoke skips around, and motion hiccups. compared to how it an on my iPad 2, it's horrendous. and yes, my iPad 3 hiccups when scrolling on a web page with extensive video graphics

luckily i bought it on October 3 so i technically fall within the 30 day unofficial exchange period

I noticed that scrolling became stuttered (sometimes) after I upgraded my iPad 3 to ios6. I hope this will be fixed with coming updates. Otherwise things are running fine.

Yes. On ios6 too.

It's very weird because sometimes it's very smooth and then it becomes choppy and then it gets smooth again (and so on...) on the same exact page.

Have you killed the app from the multitask bar and/or restarted the iPad?

I'm not having any issues with it on mine.

My iPad 3 runs silly smooth no matter what I'm doing on iOS 5.1.1. It will not see iOS 6.

I have not noticed any choppiness while scrolling on my iPad 3 . I'm still on iOS 5.1 that came with my iPad, and I will not be upgrading it.
