Sorry I've been away for a while so perhaps I've missed this. But in iTunes I still find it very annoying the way with compilations such as DJ mixes etc, it will list each artist with on track. Is there way to tell iTunes to recognize it as a whole album? Thanks.

Have apple sorted out that annoyance in iTunes?

You can either mark the tracks as a compilation or put the main artist in the Album Artist and iTunes will keep those songs together.
