I've done a search but can't find anything.

I know when the new 15" MacBook Pro's came out the hinges were loose and wouldn't keep there position without falling down. I just want to know if this issue has been resolved with the newer units?

This is the issue I'm talking about.

Can anyone who has bought a 15" recently let me know how theres is please?

The simple answer is the problem is still there. It appears that on the MacBook Pros 15 inch mid 2009 model this issue occurred on every single machine. On the same machine but mid 2010 model it looks like the issue is occurring on some machines but not all. I own both machines and have tried to reproduce the problem on the machines on display in the Apple store.

My brand new 15" i5 (built July 2010) has a firm hinge, not loose at all, screen holds its position perfectly. :)
