Does anyone know how I could have caffeine app activate on launch by editing some code for it? I can't see a preference for what I want.
I use quicksilver a lot and it would be much easier to open caffeine with 'caffeine activated' as default.

b.

System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items tab.

It's a foreground app, so using as a Startup Item won't work.

I don't think I've described what I mean clearly. Yes it is possible to have Caffeine open at login, but it is not activated.
What I would like is whenever I open the Caffeine app, (be it at login, from the applications folder, or by invoking a quicksilver command) to be activated by default. Currently it is unactivated on default and I can see no obvious option to change this.

um. why not just change your computer to never goto sleep.

sys prefs->energy saver

if you don't want it to ever goto sleep then do it that way. it's not really that big of a pain to click on caffiene in the menu bar when you want it to stay on. that way you can turn it OFF faster.

I know its a quick click of the mouse but I'm jut looking for the alternative. I tend to navigate more using my keyboard than my mouse.
