Please remind me why I can't drag a document next to the disk icons on far right of screen. I want icons to SNAP, but why do they seem to push away from the disk icons? I thought I gave them enough space in the grid.

Assuming you have set Sort By to Snap to Grid. When what you're describing happens to me, I find that moving all the visible icons will cause them to "settle in" to their proper position. Then I can rearrange and place items next to each other.

Yes, set Sort to grid, but then it avoids that side of screen. It doesn't make sense. The Drive icons are sorted by grid.

If I place the drive disks individually, all items moved next to them will snap. But if I grab all the drive disks and move them to the right side, then drag a folder next to them, the folder is pushed away. Makes me think Snap to Grid does not work for selected multiple items.
