I was looking at the Mac OS X website and I read the sidebar that had all the built-in software that Apple has developed separately with Tiger, you know, BootCamp, FrontRow and Photo Booth. Well I read the Photo Booth paragraph and this is what I found: Notice something? <<…choose an effect, pick a backdrop…>>

Is Backdrop, like the iChat Backdrop in Leopard? Or is it something else? We will have to wait and see...:D

It'll be the same as iChat, may have even been mentioned in the keynote (was so long ago after all that i have actually forgotten what was actually shown and what is conjecture since.)

It may, of course, be refering to the real life backdrop...
choose from:
A pinboard with 100 useless objects pinned to it
A white washed wall
A poster of The Proclaimers
The fish tank that was a due a clean since the birth of the laptop
And much much less...
:D

I've watced the keynote three times already and I don't see when Steve Jobs mentions any backdrops apart from the one in iChat.

I know he didn't showcase photobooth, so I guess we will have backdrops in photobooth!! We know from the leopard seed pics that we will be able to do video, and have more effects, I think that was what the other forward arrow was, they will have the color effects, the twist effects, and backdrop effects.
