What is iLife?

I've got a retail box as well as iLife05 coupons with new iBook. I think iLife is what will make my new superdrives run or something? And can I get an upgrade or pay for an upgrade to '05 if I'm still running Panther?

iLife is a collection of apple software, including: iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto, and Garageband.

it generally comes free installed with macs, however if you get a mac kinda in between updates (ie, when '05 has been announced, but before it's shipping with new computers), you will get the update to '05 free. so, take the coupon to an apple store and get the update. they will at least be able to tell you what to do if that in itself isn't enough.
