Ok so I bit the money tree good today. I got a 24" iMac 3.06GHz and a 15.4" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz, next day shipping free.

I went to Frys Electronics and bougt the following memory:

MacBook Pro: Kingstone 4GB 2x2GB PC-5300 667MHz Non Ecc unBuffered 1.8v $60.99

iMac: Corsair 4GB 2x2GB PC-6400 800MHz 5-5-5-18 1.8v unbufered Non ECC $64.99

Is this memory going to work great in both MAC's, should I have any problems, and is it good.

Those are the right generic types of RAM -- the Kingston if it is their ValueRAM KVR- series is not guaranteed to work in Macs. It might work fine, but Kingston doesn't guarantee it. Their Mac RAM is the KTA- series

I got the KVR series. Should I take the Kingston back and get something else?

What brands work good in MBP 2.4GHz?
