Have iPhone 4, giving away 3g, questions

Hi all,

Just got my iPhone 4 the other day and want to give my old 3g to my cousin. I would like to be able to put some music on the 3g before i give it to him. I have already activated the iPhone 4.

What will happen if I hook up the 3g to iTunes to load some music to it?

Will this pose a issue the next time I plug up my iPhone 4?

The phones use the same name, dont know if that makes a differance or not.
