is it possible to upgarde 4.0.2 to 4.1 using pwnage tool ? i read some place that apple stopped signing 4.1 ? does that means i cant upgrade it to 4.1 using pwnage tool?

no i dont ... the phone has never been jailbroken this is the 1st time ill jb it .. is it possible to go to 4.1 or do i need to be on 4.0.2 until pwnage tool for 4.2 comes out?
Without the SHSH you can't do anything but go to the current firmware 4.2.1 (a side note, you don't need to be Jailbroken to save your SHSHs)
There is an unofficial pwnage tool bundle for 4.2.1 for iPhone 4, it should help preserve baseband, but its still a tethered jb.

That would be a really bad idea if you wanted an unlock. Most pwnage tool custom firmware users are unlockers.
I meant get to 4.2.1 using pwnage tool . so i can stay on older baseband ...i guess its not possible right now
