Hey all,
Is there a way to have an iCloud drive folder monitored by iTunes so that anything I put in it from one of my iOS devices is automatically added to my iCloud Music Library? For example, I purchased an album from an indie band who provides a direct link for the album, which I then downloaded to my iCloud drive on my iPad. All is well, but I'd like for this to have gone into my iTunes library so that it is playable through the music app, playing music in iCloud Drive is very annoying.
I've added a symlink on my Mac for the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder and linked it to the local version of the iCloud Drive in macOS, but no dice there. Is there a better way to do this or is there a smart playlist that can monitor one select folder?
The simple idea is: download music on iOS, put it in iCloud Drive, have some way for my Mac (which is always on) to add new items in a specific iCloud Drive folder to my iCloud Music Library. Thanks!
