I have a new MBA that I want to mirror my Mac mini (running X on it). Most of the threads I could find were about synching files, but I want both to have the exact same desktop view and setup as my Mac mini. This would include 3rd party apps like CalenMob, etc. Of course they need to stay synched as things change in the future. Is this wishful thinking or is there a way to make this happen? Thanks for the help!

Initially, create a time machine backup on an external drive of the Mac mini. Then, wipe the MacBook Air if it was already set up. After that, set up by restoring from the time machine backup. To keep everything synced, you'll have to use iCloud if that app offers it or keep them logged into the same email account so that everything you can syncs. Apps that don't use Internet will require a case by case solution.
