Hi,

my buddy helped me creating some icons and we had tried to replace them, it worked, but not quite as it should.

Here's a picture so you understand whats the problem:

We made 5 icons till now, telephone, mail, safari, Messages and WhatsApp.

Phone, Mail, Safari and Messages look like we created it, but on the WhatsApp Icon there is a gloss layer on it and a small frame was around (because we have made the icons smaller than the stock).

How do I get this gloss layer applied to all icons?

It is for the iPhone 4.

Thanks!

I think there is just no gloss in the dock?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nice theme btw. Looks like Illumine!

Nevermind I'm wrong. Ill start looking at other stuff.

yeah thats richt, but the "WhatsApp" was actually in the dock, I just moved it out after I installed the Icons.

Also the "Schatzi" has no gloss! Its a App like *********friend!

I think it has to do with stock app icons.
Try retheming another non stock app with one of the icons you made and see if it has gloss?
By the way, what language?

thats what I thought too! But how can I fix it?

Also, "Schatzi" is a non stock App Icon!

I will try to make another one....

Language = German ;)

How is this actually done? That the icons are with gloss?
Does the OS put a gloss PNG over the icon? Then there must be a template I can use!

Isnt it so?
