Have there ever been any spot on rumors?

Of course, there is no shortage to ideas of new products to come out of the silicon valley, but have there ever been any that were spot on? How about anything actually leaked?

Id love to hear stories of slip ups or perfect guesses if there are any out there.

The iPod Nano and new iPod Interface were HUGE leaks...




... the first one being something that most people on MacRumors disliked.
Although I do think I absolutely love the new nanos.

Im not going to lie, iPods completely skipped my mind. Something about them, but I rarely think of them when Apple comes to mind. Perhaps its because I finally own a mac, or maybe because I stopped buying the newest ipod models after the U2 5G (which i love!).

How exactly were those details leaked? Just fumbles by Apple or patents or what?
