Have white macbook 2.0C2D, 2GB ram, want to upgrade

Should I go with the 15 MBP with a 2.53 proc or the 13 MBP with a 2.26 proc?

I was originally going to get the 15 as I want the ability to shoot to a 30" screen resolution but after learning the 13 MBP can do so also, I'm no longer sure which to get.

What speed difference will I see between those two procs?

I don't do anything intensive other than shooting to a 24" screen, doing basic things in photoshop, and that's it. I am having a lot of pinwheels now with my current mac, and it doesn't want to play 5GB tennis matches in pure HD - always skips.

Will the 2.26 proc be enough? Or should I get the base 15? Both machines, I'll have 4 GB ram in them.

I'm pretty sure that the 13" MBP will be able to handle all that you want it too.

What's the speed difference in % between the two units due to the different procs?

Any other spec differences I'm overlooking?

IMO unless you need/want the extra screen area I would not spend the extra money. BTW why are you not considering the MBP with the 9600? Sounds like your doing something that might utilize it.
