Base Price is £56.79
With the current level of VAT set to 15% the total price should be £65.31
The level of VAT apple are claiming on this order is 21.5%

Just a heads up to anyone who may have purchased it, apple essentially charged £3.69 too much tax on your item.

Prices are inclusive of VAT (15%) but exclusive of delivery charges unless otherwise indicated.The VAT rate for Electronic Software Downloads or other Apple products classified as services under EU VAT law will be (21.5%) as VAT is charged at the rate payable in the country where Apple Sales International supplies such products, which is the Republic of Ireland. The order form shows you the VAT payable on the Products you select.

Yeah I just saw it, all hidden away.

To be fair though the person on the other end of the Chat Now feature didn't know about the different VAT rates either (and he is paid to know)

And it doesn't really matter because if you buy the download at 21.5% VAT or have it shipped from Apple at 15% VAT, you still end up paying exactly the same price for it.
