Have you ever tripped over your Lightning cord?

Have you people every tripped over your lighting cord ?

Will Apple ever make a charging cable like the ones on MacBooks pro for the iPhones in futures iPhones ?

I know other companies make cables like that already but will Apple make there own cable ?

I have never once tripped on my lightning cable. It's not long enough. It's always on my bed, desk or nightstand.
