I had a 32 GB iPod Touch, 3rd gen, it feel out my pocket on my bike on the freeway. i was pretty upset.

Lose my IPhone? That's crazy talk.

But I had my previous 3GS fall from my 12th floor terrace and smashed to pieces. It was lying on a small table when my dog flipped it over chasing the pigeons away. I went about 3 months without an iPhone before I got the 4.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

I (very foolishly) gave my 3-year old my old iPod touch which he loved using for a few days but now it's lost somewhere in our house. We've been looking for it for the last week with no luck. I'm sure one day it'll turn up.

Got an ipod stolen while in class while it was in my backpack, headphones were taken as well  The worst thing is I knew who take it since he was using my headphones a couple days later

same thing happened to me. I know who stole it but he denies that he has it even though ive seen it and at one point he was so close to admitting it! but that was my nano and that lead me to get a touch so im happy!

lost my iPhone 2G once at a music festival after i passed out drunk

we tried calling it, and the finder actually picked up, telling us where to find him. So we met the guy, i gave him 20 Euros, and got my phone back.

Strengthened me in my belief that most people are honest, and sim-pins, passcode locks and the likes would hurt me more than protect my 'sensitive data'

Have had a 16GB green 5G nano and an 8GB 1G touch stolen. I think a 4GB 1G nano was also stolen, but I have no idea how, so I'll file that under lost. I didn't know where my phone was for almost three weeks this spring!

I've not lost nor had my iPhone or iPad stolen, but I have misplaced one or the other. I used MobileMe to find the missing unit. Works great. Almost pinpointed the room that it was in.
