Color fading/shifting, along the screen edge - left edge in my case.

There's this uneven line, sort of like water damage on an inkjet printed image, stretching maybe half a centimeter or so inwards along the screen edge where colors are faded and look subtly odd. As if - maybe due to poor/failed sealing - the liquid crystal fluid in the screen either has partially leaked out/escaped, or maybe oxidized or something. I still get an image in this area, the image is just fainter.

I have been able to see this image grow over the course of a few years now and it galls me somewhat, as the screen is still 100% functional otherwise. Works great with my new Macbook Pro 2018 via TB3-2 adaptor.

It's most likely in the LCD, I had one of my displays doing something similar to that in the left bottom corner. I took the LCD screen (the part of the LCD Assembly that shows the image) and changed it out with the screen from another LCD assembly that had a bad backlight and problem solved.
