Have you tried the new Ulysses?

The new Ulysses for Mac looks like the the writing app I've been waiting for.

I want to try the trial, but it's Yosemite only. I'm willing to finally update if this app is as good as it seem. Before I test it on another partition, has anyone used it?

A few of us in the office tried it and none of bought it. It's OK. There were too many issues in this newer version - RTF formatting was sometimes "forgotten", tables are a no go.

I liked Scrivener much better at the same price as Ulysses, and a couple of us bought Mellel for several dollars less. IMO better, more powerful - and mature - writing tools.

I still miss Word 5.1, tho'. :sniff:
