If so how much do you have installed on it? And does anybody know where to get memory at a low price? Im looking to max out the RAM on my computer, any ideas?:D

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

Try ramjet.com they have pretty good deals on ram and they ship all their ram with a lifetime warranty.

Yes- 4 GB

I bought corsair memory via newegg.com - I think it was about $90 for the 2 gig. I have also purchased PQI memory in the past but I avoid it now since I had a warranty issue that was difficult to resolve but eventually, after much of my effort, was settled to my satisfaction.

Your experience may vary.

Sweet I went to Crucial.com and they seem to have cheap RAM too, and they have free shipping ha. Whats the Max amount my 2.4 GHz new Macbook Pro can handle?

4gb is the largest chips they make that work in the MBP, I got mine from OWC for 100, it's very highly recommended ram around here.

Just another for vote Newegg/Crucial. Have 4GB of that memory installed since a week into owning my MBP and it has been flawless.

The price certainly looks better, but, unless I missed it, they don't appear to have a Lifetime Warranty, like OWC or Crucial. It appears to be 30 days or 1 year. If they do have a Lifetime Warranty, I couldn't find it.

It does have a lifetime warranty...just checked their website. I am almost certain that all memory manufacturers have lifetime warranties now...unless I am wrong?

Pretty much

Pretty much, they all do? Or pretty much, he's wrong? Again, I'd like to see a link to the Newegg warranty page.

This is what I found, which makes it sound like Newegg doesn't provide a lifetime warranty, only some manufacturers. Also, they charge a 15% restocking fee, which I'm not sure the others do.

Bottom line on pricing, including shipping and tax:

OWC: $97.49
Newegg: $97.98 (Crucial RAM)
Crucial: $112.57

i care about the brand, is crucial any good? i like kingston and pny

If you search the forums, you'll probably read a lot of good things about OWC and Crucial.... not nearly as much about any others. I'm sure there are lots of discount prices out there, especially for off-brands, but unless they have great warranties, I'd be cautious.
