haven't a clue (viewing video)

hey people
i've my macbook a month now and i cant see vids on youtube or even the video feed at the top of this website!!! all that shows up is a quicktime logo.

i've downloaded democracy and perion and still don't seem to be able to do so. any ideas anyone????

Flip4Mac may help where some other fails, and a going to Adobe to get and manually install the newest flash player may also help in some cases.
