Haven't used my MacBook Pro since Friday....

I am in love with this new iPad. My parents surprised me with it for a high school graduation and birthday present, and I can't put it down.

I'm typing my school papers on Pages using my Bluetooth keyboard, surfing the web is great. If you are a student I highly recommend it. While it does everything a laptop does,I like this more.

very cool that you are using it productively. i can't imagine writing a paper on an ipad as opposed to my desktop. that was very nice of your family to get the ipad for you. enjoy it!

I haven't been willing to shell out the $10 for Pages til now, but man Pages rocks on the iPad! Kicking myself for waiting so long!

Maybe it's just me with my iPad 1, but I can't bear using Pages for any sort of real composition. Lack of keyboard shortcuts (Command+B/I/U, etc.) and the pain of formatting text keeps me using my Mac.
