I originally ordered the Ti but saw the graphite in the store and picked that up. I don’t really change bands a lot and do not wear metal bands at all. Only the sport bands as shown and might look into the new leather apple bands once available. I have the watch 5 sbti and its been great but I feel the graphite is far sexier and changes color with the light. Yet the titanium is an exotic material. Probably doesn’t make a difference in an Apple Watch that I’ll sell or trade in after a year. They are both dlc so durability should be the same. I know it’s my ultimate decision but what do you think? I don't care about the $100 difference. Ti on the left. Graphite on the right.

It’s really all about personal preference, I like both watches but prefer SBTi because it is more understated.

Graphite for me. I had the chance to check them both out in person before I picked mine and the SBTi was too dull for me. The graphite was dynamic in the light and much more exciting to look at.

Tough call. Both have their pluses. I’ve gone back and forth on the same decision. If you don’t switch bands a lot and like uniformity of color I’d go with Titanium. If you switch things up from time to time with Bands and enjoy shine every so often then go with stainless.
You really can’t go wrong either way on this one. I went graphite do to shine and ability to look dressy when needed. S5 SBTi while gorgeous became boring to me after awhile because it really doesn’t offer much switch up in terms of colors, combos etc like you’d get with SBSS or now the Graphite.
Honestly the question I think is interesting now is do you go Stainless or Graphite? With coloring not as dark do you stay with DLC and risk a scratch you can’t buff out or do you go regular stainless that you can buff with a cape cod cloth easily?

If I knew for a fact the graphite dlc is as scratch resistant as the other dlc cases I’d keep the graphite. So far we have seen reports of scratching but only with that darn Milanese bracelet which I can’t stand.

I don’t know why you would want to keep an Apple Watch more than 2 years? They have almost become disposable at this point in my opinion. If you’re getting the newest version every year just get aluminum unless you got the money. The resale value for the watch has plummeted over the years.

Graphite for me too. Ridiculously sexy, and nearly impervious to scratches with DLC. Why pay a fortune for something that looks like SG aluminum? Graphite is simply beautiful.

Graphite:
+ More Scratch Resistant
+ More Dent Resistant
+ Differentiated Look vs Aluminium (from a distance)

Titanium:
+ Cool Name
+ Nice Brushed Finish (matters when looking up close - from a distance, looks similar to Alu)
+ Titanium Edition watches have extra band, extra 1 year of warranty and charger

Up to personal preference:
- More vs less shiny / blingy?
- Colors / band matching

I bought the SS graphite and am delighted.

Everyone doesn’t see it your way. People like what they like and can afford.
