I just clean installed SL on my imac i try to update Mac OSX Update combined to get the apple store and stuff and it keeps giving me an error once it trys to install. Saying the download could be corrupt it can install this at this time what could be the problem anyone know???

Where are you getting the update from? Software Update or from the Apple Store downloads page? If from one, try the other.
If you're getting it from the downloads page, make sure you have the right one; ie, not the Server edition. Also, if you are trying the incremental update, try the combo.
