This could be useful for anyone who is having Airport Extreme troubles on a PowerBook/iBook.
I bought and installed one a couple of days ago, and it worked fine for the first day. When I got home yesterday I tried to start my PB and it would panic while still on the grey boot screen. Taking the Airport card out would fix it, but whenever I put it back in I'd get the panic. I zapped, repaired etc but still no luck.
I only discovered what the problem was on at least the 5th time of reinstalling the card, when it moved about .5mm further than normal, this made me realise that all along it hadn't been seated properly, and it took a fair amount of force to get the damn thing in. Now it works a treat
So, if you're having Airport problems, PUSH THE CARD IN PROPERLY!
