My iMac is connected to my TC for internet access and I use WiFi for my Apple TV/iPad/iPhone... I've always had WiFi on my iMac turned off.
With Yosemite out, I'd like to take advantage of continuity (I assume I would need to turn WiFi on through my iMac) but I want to make sure my internet traffic still goes through my ethernet connection (I have Ethernet at the top of the list in the service order menu). That being said, I also want my iMac to still stream my movies in iTunes over ethernet to my TC and then over WiFi to my Apple TV.
Will I be able to achieve what I want to do while having both options turned on?
