Having huge iCloud problems that I do not understand! Please help!

So, today I received my new MacBook Pro. Set it all up with iCloud and everything. My reminders and Calendar were synced perfectly with my iPhones. However since then, they have gone bezerk. None of the ones I put on the cloud from my mac go to my phone, and vice versa. It is necessary for me to have them sync. Why aren't they syncing?

Also, I've done all the typical stuff. (Reboot everything, delete icloud account, turn off reminders, change email to @me, etc.)

Did you go into iCloud settings to make sure you are loading up your events to the cloud? I was having the same issue. But I wasn't sharing them.
