Having Logic Board Replacement. Question.

Having logic board replacement by an authorized service provider on my early 2013 15 retina for the recall.

Does the SSD have anything to do with the logic board replacement, such as any data being lost? thank you
 
You should backup just to be safe, but the flash storage blade just can easily be moved from the old logic board to the new so you should not experience any data loss.
