Ever since I updated iTunes to 10.4.1.10 last Sat I've been getting this strange problem. I check for app updates everday, and there has been a few here and there since Sat.

Once I update the app, whether is one at a time or update all iTunes downloads the update. But when its done updating iTunes still the app(s) as needing to update. I dl'd 1 update 3x when I finally got pissed off and deleted the app. In my recycle bin I saw all 3 of the apps I just dl'd.

Anyone know what is going on? The only way I can work around this is by deleting the app in iTunes and redownload it. Thankfully the updates this week have not been critical apps, but I do have apps that I have a lot of data saved (games, etc).

I have seen this lately as well. The only solution is to download the update via the iOS device and then sync with iTunes.

This is an Apple problem. Don't hold your breath.
