Hi,
Not sure if this is right place to post this so mods feel free to move it..
Anyway, I have a 50GB Windows Bootcamp partition on my MBP, and a WD My Passport where I store most of my stuff. When I got my WDMP I was expecting for it to not be writable because of the NTFS system. I thought I would have to download an app to make it work.
It was actually just plug and play and works perfectly....on my Mac. On my Windows partition, if I try copying anything into it I get "Destination Folder Access Denied" and "You need permission to perform this action." I started by going into "my info" for it in Finder on my Mac and changing its permissions so everything could write to it. Didn't work. I tried following some different suggestions I found online. None of them worked.
So what do I do? I wouldn't have a problem moving my Windows partition to my external drive as long as it does not delete any files? Should I do that, and if so, how?
Is there an easier way to make this thing work on both my Mac and Windows partitions?
Thanks.
