Having some trouble pairing a Sony Ericsson with my MacBook

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to connect a Sony Ericsson phone with my MacBook via Bluetooth. I've got them paired okay, but when I try to send files from the phone to my Mac, it tries to connect, gets connected for like a couple of seconds and then fails again. I've tried to connect to the MacBook several times on the phone and every time it fails.

Have you tried Applications / Utilities / Bluetooth File Exchange > File > Browse Device...?

Go to sharing under system preferences and make sure 'bluetooth sharing' is ticked
