I've managed to build an XML powered screensaver using InstantStorm (for Windows), but because (I think) it reads the XML when it compiles the screensaver, whenever I edit the XML, it doesn't edit it in the screensaver.

Is there a way around this? I'm trying to create something similar to the RSS screensaver in OSX. I want the RSS-feeds to update in real-time but it doesn't and I have no idea why.

Could someone point in the right direction for a screensaver program for Mac and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Why reinvent the wheel?

System Prefs ->Desktop & Screen Saver. Click "Options" and in the "Feed URL:" enter a URL for the feed you want.

Sorry, left out the screen saver info...

System Prefs ->Desktop & Screen Saver -> Screen Saver tab, Click on RSS Visualizer (on the left). Click "Options" and in the "Feed URL:" enter a URL for the feed you want.
