Having trouble putting an mp4 movie into itunes/iphone

I have a movie on my computer in Mp4 format, and I've tried dragging it to itunes and importing it, and nothing seems to be working.

It just doesn't register it at all.

What am I doing wrong??

I believe it needs to have h.264 encoding.
