having trouble staying connected to wifi

My phone will not remember my home wifi connection. I constantly have to input the password. Is there a certain type of encryption with the router that makes me have to do that or disables a computer from remembering? Now that i think about it, my laptop requests the password a lot too.

If you click other on the WiFi selection screen within settings. Type in your connection settings manually and it should connect and reconnect fine. It's a strange bug that sometimes occur's on iOS.
