Having trouble with torrents

i am very confused on what happened to my torrent program. I was using extratorrent and loved it. I had limewire and whenever I clicked download on the extratorrent site, it downloaded in about 1 second. It showed up in my download prompt with the limewire symbol next to it. I then proceeded to the Finder and dragged the file from my downloads folder to uTorrent. I was doing this for about a week and then suddenly when I clicked download...nothing happened. I deleted both limewire AND uTorrent to maybe refresh it but NOW i can't even download utorrent again. Nothing happens when i try!!! I'm using a wireless connection and I'm new at this and have no idea how to fix it. any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I started using Vuze and it works but I do not like it as much.

I want EXTRATORRENT back!!!!

Solution

for anyone who has had the same problem or a similar one...i did some extensive browsing and figured it out.

theres an application called Speed Downloader 5.0

delete this from your hard drive and restart your browser.

EVERYTHING goes back to normal.
