HBO GO Airplay hack?

Hi, I to have this issue

I watched something on (iPad Today) on the Twit Network and Leo said AirPlay works.. I wanted to reach through the screen and say No it Doesnt.. When I click on airplay from my iPad2 to my 55in HD TV I get audio and that is it.. Anyone with some answers let us know..

HBO GO does NOT support AirPlay. At best you'll get the audio stream, no video. They don't want you blasting HBO up to a big screen for fear such functionality would start to cannibalize their existing subscriber base. It sucks, but that's just the mentality of all these content providers.

It would look and sound better than an iPhone, iPad, iPod or laptop.

Especially since it would make it viable for communal viewing. It's kind of hard to watch a movie or TV show with multiple people on a laptop or iPad.

Err don't you have to be a HBO subscriber to use the app anyway?
