Apps hbo now wont update

when i start the hbo now app on atv4 it is giving me a notification that a new update is available then sends me to the app store.

in the app store i click the down arrow update button, it spins a few times then back to the arrow and never updates. doing this for the last couple days....

happening to anyone else?

Delete and reinstall it. It should then download the newest version. BTW what tvOS version do you have?

os, apps set to autoupdate. blue dots by other apps so it's updating other apps just not hbo for some reason. updated fine on iphone7 10.02

I second the delete and reinstall method. I noticed last night that HBO Now was updated, but I was still able to watch John Oliver just fine. Delete and reinstall should do the trick.

still wouldn't update today so deleted and d/l which got the updated app . wonder wth was wrong with it...
