Hi,

Looking for help as my MBP died due to water damage. I removed the hard dmounted an external mount to back up the drive with another laptop but found that I can only view the boot camp partition not the Mac partition which is what I want to backup. I removed the smaller drive there's not a second one is there or any thoughts on where the Mac partition might be hiding?

Cheers

K

Is the second computer running Windows? I'm suspecting so since it can see the Win partition but not the OSX one.

If you are running windows then you won't be able to see the mac partition as stated above. If its just for a quick backup job, google "macdrive", install, and then use that to move your files off. I think it comes with a 5 day trial.
