Hi,

I'm just about to pull the trigger on getting a Panasonic SD90. Glowing reviews, decent prices.

This will be used for filming HD vox-pops for uploading to Youtube, (after some minor editing in iMovie).

Widescreen 28mm lens, glowing reviews. Looks great.

BUT! Digging deeper seems to indicate that it films in 50p at max quality. Two main issues:

1) 50p in 1920 x 1080 seems it can't be edited on the mac! iMovie and FCE (which I don't want to use) choke on this.

2) YouTube doesn't like 50fps and it comes out jerky on YouTube.

Given this, would you still recommend this camera? Or recommend something else?
