I have a new JVC HDD camcorder (Everio GZ-HM200BU) that takes SD cards.

After filling many SD cards on our trip, I came home, put the cards in my SD card reader, and imovie neatly recognized and imported the clips.

However, before I format my SD cards, I want to make sure that the clips I imported are as high a quality as possible.

I have never worked with HD video before.

How can I verify that my clips are HD?

What is the best way to create a watchable 'movie'? Should I burn to blu ray or prepare it to be watched via the computer?

Thanks so much!
