HD Capacity Used include apps? Or only data?

I am trying to determine how much storage space i will need in Dropbox. When I Get Info on my Macintosh HD, does the amount of "GB on disk" consist of only DATA? Right now my Used: 153.83 GB on disk, which exceeds the 100 GB maximum-storage subscription amount of Dropbox.

"Data" includes everything on your hard disk.

Did you even read my reply? Are the apps on your hard disk? If they are, they are included as "data."
