HD Cleaning

I am upgrading my 2010 MBP and will be selling it; Is there a way to do a true cleaning of my HD so that even forensic recovery software can't locate anything??
 
On Disk Utility, go to the Erase tab and check out Security Options. Choose the highest one. Never tried it but I'm pretty sure it will take a really long time so be prepared to wait.
