The HD in my friend's iMac just died: clicking noise and no boot. And no back-up. (Yes, I'm going to slap him.) I'll open it up and try to mount it in my Mac Pro, but if it doesn't, I'm out of options.
He really wants his data back, and I'd like to know if there are professional recovery services for the HSF format. I know it's going to be expensive, but still.
