was wondering if someone might be able to help me with this. i had my powermac G5 in sleep mode and a storm rolled through and cut my power off. But when i turned my mac on the following morning it wouldnt recognize my second hard drive. it asked if i'd like to repair it so i followed the instructions but it apparently produced an error it couldnt fix. luckily it didnt have anything on it as i mainly use external hard drives but i would like to have it eventually. any ideas?

Correction in title: my computer can find it, it just cant repair it.

Unfortunately, you're either going to have to use a disk repair program to fix your disk's broken filesystem, or just reformat the thing. If you don't have any data on there you want to save, just open Disk Utility and reformat the offending drive.
